Antigen Leukocyte Cellular Antibody Test is a food sensitivity/intolerance test that helps to uncover foods, herbs, and chemicals your body may react to on a cellular level.  It reveals an intolerance or sensitivity that can trigger chronic inflammation and other health-related issues.

Sensitivities and intolerance affect nearly 80% of the population.  The ALCAT test measures cellular reactions to over 450 substances.  A sample of your blood is sent off overnight to go through a multi-step quality assurance process; testing your white blood cells against foods, herbs, and chemicals through a process called flow cytometry and cell impedance methodology.   Once your test is finished, you will receive a color-coded sheet that explains your sensitivities to the different foods and substances your body had reacted too.  This test is not just for adults but can also be tested in children to discover sensitivity issues early.

Please note that the ALCAT test is not formatted to test for IgE allergies.  This is strictly a sensitivity/intolerance test.  Less than 5% of people actually have a “true” (IgE) food allergy, but if you expect that you do, please contact your primary physician and follow their advice on getting tested.
